Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre

The Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre is a parastatal body operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology. Set up on 5.3 acres of land at Bell Village, the 4,000m2 building houses around 200 interactive exhibits that provide visitors with an entertaining experience and hands-on introduction to the world of science.

Objectives
• Create awareness for Science and Technology
• Encourage creativity and innovation particularly among young people
• Supplement education in Science and Technology at all levels
• Enhance public understanding of Science and Technology

Activities
Science exhibitions, science competitions, workshops/seminars, outreach programmes, sky observation programmes, live science shows, film shows, science on the move and science demonstration lectures. It is also a venue to hold science related events & VIP functions.
