A PINCH of Salt, a family venture which started in 2016, is involved in the manufacturing of handicraft salt products. The owner was the manager of two salt pans in Tamarin and black River for 10 years. In December 2015, when the two salt pans closed, Joseph decided to continue the adventure and started his own business.

A Pinch of Salt is all about family, tradition and authenticity, which is why all members of the family have been part of this adventure since day one. The team of 3 are united by the core values of authenticity, respect of the environment, solidarity and quality.

The company’s mission is to provide the best quality artisanal salt products. A Pinch of Salt offers natural raw salt and «La Fleur de Sel » natural or flavoured with chili, garlic, vanilla, pink peppercorn, and three peppers among others.

A Pinch of Salt focuses on sustainability and works hard to identify and prioritize new opportunities for improvement across the business. It promotes and supports local entrepreneurs, as well as ensures that it grows and creates positive impacts throughout its supply chain.
