CERNOL LTD started operation on the 3rd of August 1970 in the specialty chemical business serving various industries until now namely, hotels and restaurants, food and beverage, textile industry, coating industry as well as the building industry.

From a small company employing a dozen employees in 1970, it grew to now employ i ng some 250 people in Mauritius. It has a strong presence in the region namely Madagascar, Reunion Island and the Seychelles.

The company has expertise in cleaning and hygiene solutions and holds partnerships with international key players like Ecolab USA and Huntsman textile effects. The business has a dedicated team of technicians at the service of its customers to ensure maximum efficiency in the use of its products and improve their internal processes and their competitiveness in their respective markets.

During the years, Cernol has also developed a wide range of domestic cleaning and hygiene products in state-of-the-art packaging, to help in the cleaning and disinfection of households.

The company has fully supported the Made in Moris label since its launch together with the AMM. The ‘Savoir Faire’ of Mauritian Manufacturers has been proven and Cernol is proud to form part of that com munity to help save foreign currency while delivering high quality products made by the Mauritian people.
