OXENHAM has been involved in the alcoholic beverages Industry in Mauritius since 1932. It is horizontally diversified and spanning from production to import to distribution and retail with three main clusters at its core- Winery, Craft Distillery and Craft Brewery.

It has been not only owned but also run, first by its founder and subsequently by two successive generations of his descendants with the fourth generation slowly integrating the firm and therefore, comprising four generations in all to date. It is driven by passion and a sense of tradition that could only run in a family and that are all the prouder for the firm’s modest beginnings and its achievements since then.

With a total number of 343 staff, Oxenham is specialized in manufacturing fruit wines, beer and rum. Moreover, the company also deals with the importation of wines and spirits.

Wine runs deep in the Oxenham family culture. Much more than a tradition, it is a passion that has blossomed through four generations to reach a degree of fullness and maturity, enshrined in Oxenham Co Ltd which is unique in Mauritius.
