INTEGO LTD has been present in the Mauritian agricultural sector since 2007. A member of Made in Moris, the company operates two liquid fertilizer production plants in the north, at Beau Plan and in the south of the island, at La Barraque, Omnicane. Intego employs approximately 60 people to run the business.
Intego is the only local fertilizer producer to offer organo-mineral fertilizers based on Concentrated Molasses Stillage (CMS) for cane and vegetable fertilization. CMS is a co-product of the sugarcane industry, rich in organic matter, potash and other plant and soil nutrients.
Based on its technical and operational expertise, the company assists its customers in developing various CMS-based fertilising solutions for soil and plant nutrition. In addition, the company offers to its customers an application service for these liquid fertilizers.
In order to complete its range of products and solutions for plant nutrition, Intego also offers to its customers a range of organic products, foliar fertilizers and bio stimulants that help the plant to resist insects and diseases and to achieve their production potential.
In recent years, special attention has been given to promoting soil biology. In this respect, Intego and its partners offer a soil analysis service (to establish its fertility index) and also biological solutions that will help farmers to regenerate their soils, maintain a high level of fertility, while reducing the impact of chemical fertilizers on soil life and the environment.
Intego is also the official distributor of Richel, the world leader in greenhouses. With over 55,000 m2 of greenhouses installed locally, Richel greenhouses are designed for the local conditions and adapted for hydroponics and organic growing.
