The SEMDEX and the SEMTRI moved up by 0.71% at the end of the days under review.u003c/strongu003eu003c/pu003eu003cpu003eThe Total Return Index, SEMTRI, gained 44.04 points in one week, closing the session of Monday 26u003csupu003ethu003c/supu003e October 2015 at 6,272.94 points. The All-share index, SEMDEX, closed the same session at 1,878.33 points against 1,865.14 points last Monday. The SEM-10 Index, which comprises the ten largest and most liquid stocks, closed at 360.52 points. The SEM sustainability index, SEMSI, ended the same day at 98.07 points. The market capitalisation stood at Rs 209.17 billion at market close on Monday.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eTotal transactions amounted to Rs 121.8 million during the week. The top traded companies were: MCB Group Ltd (MCBG), SBM Holdings Ltd (SBMH), Rogers u0026amp; Co. Ltd (ROGE), New Mauritius Hotels Ltd (NMHL) and CIEL Limited (CIEL). They were exchanged for a total value of Rs 45.7 million, Rs 15.9 million, Rs 10 million, Rs 6 million and Rs 5.3 million. The shares of MCBG, SBMH, ROGE, NMHL and CIEL closed at Rs 210.00, Rs 0.80, Rs 28.20, Rs 18.60 and Rs 6.76 on Monday 26u003csupu003ethu003c/supu003e October 2015.u003c/pu003eu003cpu003eAn analysis of the evolution of the prices of listed stocks indicates that out of the 53 stocks figuring on the Official List, 11 moved up during the week, 28 remained stable and 15 went down.
