INCORPORATED in 1960, PhoenixBev is an independent brewer and soft drinks bottler company, operating both in Mauritius and the wider Indian Ocean region and is listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. PhoenixBev is specialized in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and has today over 1600 employees to ensure high quality products and services.
Since 1963, the Company has been brewing its flagship Phoenix Beer. Other beers and cider products are produced under the Phoenix brand, together with the Blue Marlin, Stella Pils, Gister beers and Manawa craft beer. In addition Guinness Stout, Malta Guinness and Smirnoff Ice are manufactured under license.
As the authorized bottler for The Coca-Cola Company in Mauritius, PhoenixBev bottles a large portfolio of beverages such as Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite and Schweppes carbonated soft drinks, together with Crystal mineral water. The sparkling drinks Eski, Pearona, Cidona and Orangina, and the energy drink Monster also form part of PhoenixBev portfolio.
The Group has widened its variety of products with the non-carbonated beverages Fuze Tea and 5Alive Pulpy juice.
With both the bottling and imports of wines and spirits, PhoenixBev is also present in these segments through its branded activity “PhoenixBev Wines and Spirits”.
PhoenixBev exports its products to the Indian Ocean Islands, UK, France, China, Australia and Djibouti.
The subsidiaries are The (Mauritius) Glass Gallery Ltd, a company involved in the recycling of glass for the manufacture and sale of various glass products and Edena S.A and Phoenix Reunion in Reunion Island.
