SINCE its inception in the paint industry in 1988, Sofap has established itself as one of the leading paint manufacturers in Mauritius, driven by a constant concern for quality and innovation. Sofap manufactures and markets the renowned Permoglaze brand of paints under license from Crown Paints UK. The business also supplies Permofi x tile adhesives.

Sofap produces textured coatings of the Tribe brand. It is the exclusive distributor in Mauritius for the leading brands in the paint and coating industry, including Genrock, Altex Coatings, Nova, ICA and Rust Oleum. In terms of accessories, Sofap offers brushes and rollers of the brand Atlas.

Sofap’s products are available in more than 600 hardware stores throughout the island. Sofap is also a supplier of choice for major paint contractors, construction companies and various industries in Mauritius. Sofap also operates ten showrooms, under the identity of Sofap Inspirations Store. These stores have been designed to inspire and satisfy the expectations of the most demanding customers in terms of decoration. In addition, building on its success in the local market and the know-how and experience of its team of 220 dedicated staff, Sofap is expanding its reach to export markets such as the Netherlands.
