BEE WORKS Ltd was set up on the 4th of December, 2017 for beekeeping activities, production, bottling and distribution of local Mauritian honey. The company has a total number of 5 employees who ensure that the best service is being provided in order to satisfy its clients.

Bee works specializes in building and maintaining beehives, inducting wild swarms, splitting colonies, creating new queens, collecting honey and maintaining the health of existing colonies.

The director, Etienne de Senneville, who is passionate about nature, wanted to have an activity in the forest and therefore he started beekeeping in 2007 as a hobby. 10 years later, Etienne de Senneville resigned from his job and created Bee Works Ltd to become a professional beekeeper.

The mission of Bee Works Ltd is to produce premium local quality honey, honey comb and allied products for Mauritian and foreign customers. Bee Works was founded to propose a sustainable, eco-friendly, healthy, and tasty local product as well as to raise public awareness in general for a better understanding of the importance of the bees in our ecosystem.

Bee Works’ objective is to reach 1000 hives up to December 2024 and a production of 20 tons of honey.
