LMLC is the flour-milling factory set up in Mauritius in 1989 in order to promote food security in Mauritius. Since their inception, LMLC has developed a wide range of specialised wheat flours, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of wheat products for local and export markets.

Production of adapted local flour out of imported wheat guarantees the freshness of the flour, which in return contributes to a higher quality of transformed flour-based products. Hence, the 16 silos of LMLC contain up to 40,000 tons of wheat grains, which are milled according to the market needs.

Assisted by 160 staff, LMLC reinforces the quality of its products by being supportive to the professional and individual users through technical services and training and by participating in local and international baking initiatives.

LMLC also contributes to the development of the livestock sector as it produces fresh wheat bran.

Considering the large use of flour in the Mauritian diet and its key importance, LMLC is proud to be a member of Made in Moris and adhere to the values for sustainability of the collective brand.
