MEADERS Feeds Ltd is an animal feed manufacturing company incorporated in 1994. It produces a variety of feeds for the following classes of livestock: poultry (broiler & laying hens), cattle and dairy cows, pigs, goats, rabbits, ducks, dogs and primates. It is a major player in the field of animal nutrition serving not only the local market, but also the regional market, namely Rodrigues, Seychelles, Comoros Islands, Mayotte, Reunion Island and Madagascar. Innodis Ltd is its majority shareholder and Inicia Ltd, the other major shareholder.
With an annual production of about 100,000 tons and a turnover of Rs 1,3 billion, Meaders Feeds Ltd is one of the leading companies in the agro-industrial sector of the island. It has around 175 employees to ensure the smooth running of the business. Its production unit is one of the most modern in the Indian Ocean, and its production line is fully automated as all processes are strictly controlled during all phases of the production process.
