QUALITY Beverages Limited dates to 1955, when the company was established as the manufacturer and distributor of PepsiCo brands for the Mauritian territory.
Back then, it began to manufacture and distribute Pepsi, Mirinda and Evervess in 8oz. returnable glass bottles only. Today, and after more than 60 years of operation, it has grown to be one of the leading bottlers and distributors of non-alcoholic- ready-todrink beverages in Mauritius.
As from 1st of October 2019, Margarine Industries Limited (MIL) has been amalgamated with and into Quality Beverages Limited (QBL), creating a food and beverage company, that is going to deliver sustainable growth, accelerate performance improvement and maintain its commitment to create value for its customers, employees and shareholders. QBL is driving productivity and gaining competitiveness while offering innovative products at affordable prices with the support of around 550 employees.
MIL has been one of the pioneers in the manufacturing industry, operating since the past 50 years. The company manufactures a wide range of products ranging from margarine to spread butter and ghee for both the retail and industrial customers, within International norms.
QBL Company is part of the Currimjee Group of companies, a family owned Group founded by the Currimjee family with over 125 years of existence.
