TOP Nature was incorporated in 2006 and became a member of Made in Moris in 2016. The company cultivates vegetables using responsible hydroponic techniques in its 50 units of greenhouses on a surface of 30 000 m² at Deux Bras New Grove. Their highly equipped greenhouses together with their important surface and their savoir faire enable them to cater for the local demands even during the peak seasons and under harsh climatic conditions. The business being a pioneer leading tomato producer has enabled Mauritians and expatriates to discover a large variety of locally grown tomatoes such as Coeur de boeuf, San Marzano, bunching type cherries.
Top Nature also has a diversified range of high quality cucumbers, sweet peppers, egg plants and potted herbs. All their vegetables are vine-ripened, handpicked. They are passionate about sustainable and zero pesticide production of vegetables and they continuously innovate in terms of varieties, taste, and shelf- life of their vegetables. The company’s aim is to be the highest quality and more reliable producer to its customers.
Top Nature’s team consists of 25 employees and their strength is their hydroponic consultant with 30 years of working experiences in the tropics. Furthermore, they distribute solely what they produce and have a traceability from seeds to markets. They sell their vegetables packed in trays with the company’s logo and traceability codes. Top Nature’s main marketing channels are supermarkets, wholesalers, hotels and e-commerce.
The company proudly fights against ‘Food Wastage’ and therefore collaborates with FoodWise and other NGOs and donate their surplus, unsold veggies.
